What devices does the app work on?

The Inventory Master app is specifically designed for use on Apple products and therefore works on the iPod, iPhone and iPad.

What operating system is required?

You need to be running iOS 6 and above.

How do I get the app onto my device?

You need to download the inventory master app from the App Store.

I am a private landlord, which package is best for me?

This depends on the number of properties in your portfolio. We offer two specific packages for the smaller landlord, individual or bronze. If you have a portfolio of more than 5 properties then our silver or gold would be best.

How many inventories can I do?

Our packages are on a per property basis. Dependent upon the package will depend on the number of properties. You can have as many check in, reviews or check outs as you require per property. For details on the specific packages look at our sign up page.

I am having difficulty logging on what should I do?

You first need to check that you are using the correct log in and password that you registered on our website with. Often users misspell or use the incorrect e-mail address or password.

If you do have problems logging in the drop us and email at and we will do our best to get you logged in asap.

How do I add a property?

To start you need to add a landlord, once you have done this you can add a property by pressing the add property button. From there you can add an inventory by selecting the type of inventory, check in, review or check out.

How do I sync?

Once you have completed a report you can sync using the sync button on use app

The data takes time to load when I log in. Why is this?

Data can take a few minutes to load, this is perfectly normal and is due to the syncing process of the website and app.

Syncing takes a few minutes, is this normal?

Yes this is normal as the app and website talk to each other and the data transfers.

When will I be able to edit and e-mail my report from the website?

Once the app has synched and the completed button is shown the report is available on our website at and you log in with the same e-mail address and password as the app.

Can I use a 3 or 4 g connection?

Due to the amount of data transferring between the app and website 3 and 4g connections have proved insufficient. You need to be connected to a strong wifi connection.

How do I upgrade?

You can upgrade you package through the login section of the website.

How do I brand my reports?

Reports can be branded with logos and color options at the log in website in the account tab.

How do I email my reports?

Reports can be e-mailed in the property section of the website.

How do I change the size of the photos on the report?

There are three photo size options for how big you wish to have the inventory photos on your reports. These can be selected at the account tab.

Why is there a monthly charge?

We charge monthly fees to make it simple easy billing. This is all done through GoCardless a secure payment system.

How many times can I check in, review and check out for each property?

As many times as you wish. Our packages are on a per property basis rather than a per inventory basis.

Is the app ever improved?

The app is constantly being updated and improved to provide the best user experience. We welcome feedback on how our customer’s user experience can be improved and if you have any suggestions e-mail

Should I log out of the app after each time I use it?

There is no need to log out of the app, it works perfectly when it is always logged in.
